Wallumbilla's Brady Swan loves life in the water

BRADY Swan loves the water so much, it's a wonder he hasn't grown gills.

The youngster was showing off his swimming skills at the Wallumbilla Swimming Club's annual carnival on Saturday.

Brady said there was no doubting which stroke he liked the most.

"Breaststroke, because I win with it a lot," he said.

"I like getting in the water."

Brady said he had no trouble making friends at the club.

"I always make friends because a lot of the people I know at school go to the club," he said.

Carnival organiser Kirsten York said the reason Wallumbilla attracted huge numbers to its club was because of its connection to the schoolchildren.

"We're the only school that actually operates their own pool so we have 60 members," she said.
