You Go Girl! Motocross girls to show us how it’s done
GIRL power will be out in full force at the Queensland Female Junior, Senior and Vets MX Championship this weekend.
Some of the best female riders in the state will compete at the Roma District Motorcycle Club, contending for the top spots in the Queensland titles.
Go Girls Racing Australia (GGRA) have marked some of the riders as high contenders, including Sarah Guthrie in the Senior Womens and Hayley Miller in the Mini Lites Class.
Bryde Ries, Tarlia Pearson, Lauren Betts, Hannah Knight, Megan Janulis, Rhee Miller and Aimee Zohl are also riders to watch out for in their title campaigns.
The event is not just for the girls, with male classes also competing in the last round of the Go Girls Racing Series for Support.
GGRA, in conjunction with the Roma District Motorcycle Club, have been in preparation for the event, making sure the track and facilities are up to scratch and ready for a full two days of racing.
There will be a number of great prizes, trophies and cash up for grabs and there will be plenty of race action.
GGRA and the club invite everyone to come along and enjoy a great weekend of racing.
The races will be held at the course at Ironbark Speedway and entry is $5 for adults, $2 for children or $10 for a family of four.
