Mountain biker carried 800m up range after crash
UPDATE 5.35PM: A woman who crashed her mountain bike more than 800m down the Toowoomba Range has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Paramedics were called to the dirt track at Jubilee Park about 4.10pm after the woman aged in her late teens crashed her bike.
She suffered chest and pelvis injuries, and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services helped carry her up the range.
She was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
5PM: A woman has suffered critical injuries after crashing a mountain bike on the edge of the Toowoomba Range.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services are assisting paramedics to retrieve the woman from Jubilee Park.
She is believed to have suffered serious chest injuries in the fall on the escarpment about 4.30pm.
