Woman rushed to hospital for snake bite

A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital after she was bitten by a snake overnight.

An ambulance was called to a Buderim home at 7.30pm to treat a woman in her 40s.

She was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.

Queensland Ambulance could not confirm what type of snake had bitten the Buderim woman.

QAS was unable to confirm if anti-venom was administered.
