Woman dies after being hit by vehicle
A WOMAN has died in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Brisbane's west this morning.
Police confirmed the 33-year-old woman suffered serious head injuries and subsequently died in hospital mid morning.
The woman from Toowong was hit by a car in Chelmer about 7am this morning.
The woman was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition with significant head injuries, but died soon after.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
