Woman airlifted after quad bike accident
THE RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service attended Theodore this morning, to treat a woman who had fallen from her quad bike.
Whilst being treated in the Theodore hospital by the critical care paramedic and doctor, it was decided the 53-year-old woman needed to be in the Royal Brisbane Hospital as she had a serious head injury.
The woman was then transported by helicopter to Thangool where the Royal Flying Doctor Service Aircraft was waiting to fly her to Brisbane.
She was transferred throughout in a serious but stable condition.
