Who would top up with $2 worth of fuel and drive off?

THE driver of a white Holden Commodore must have been desperate for fuel after topping up with only $2 worth and driving off without paying.

Police are looking at CCTV footage after a drive-off at Puma Service Station in Maryborough was reported through police link.

Police said the driver put 1.49 litres of fuel in the vehicle, or about $2 worth, before driving off without paying.

The drive-off happened just before 11am on Tuesday.
