REGULATED car parking has kicked off in the Roma CBD with drivers now only able to park for free for up to three hours.
Once the time limit is reached, drivers risk being fined $56 by the Maranoa Regional Council.
The restrictions mainly apply to Hawthorne St, McDowall St, Arthur St, Wyndham St and some of Bowen St.
The rules only applies to vehicles remaining in the same parking space for more than three hours.
The limit will start again for people who move to another parking space.
It will apply to cars parking in the CBD between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday. No restrictions apply to those using the parks outside of those times.
For all day car parking, you can go to Arthur St carpark one (near the Queensland Ambulance Service) or Arthur St carpark two (near Landmark).
The orange blocks in the map show the new three hour parking zones.
