Black Tie Ball: THE annual black tie ball kick-starts the 118th year of the Picnic Races and heralds the beginning of Roma's social calendar.
The evening will begin with delightful canapes and champagne on arrival, followed by dinner and dessert. Then revellers can boogie the night away with live music from Red Tie.

Picnic Races: HOLD on to your hats, the Roma Picnic Races are back, with gates opening at 11am and the first race starting at 1.30pm.
Fashions on the field will be from 3.15pm, with $7000 in prizes to be won. Nominations for classic lady, contemporary lady, best head wear, best dressed couple and Maranoa lady from noon.
Entertainment from Red Tie until midnight.
Complimentary bus pick-up and return to all Roma accommodations.

Come and try day: IN THE spirit of racing, why not come and see what allthe fuss is with horse riding and attend Roma Pony Club's come and try day.
Jump in the saddle from7.45am on Sunday at the Roma Pony Club grounds for a day of fun, riding and learning about horses.

Motorcycle Club Day: PULL on a helmet and jump on your motorbike and enjoy a day of roaring around the muddy track.
The Roma District Motorcycle Club will be holding its first event for the year.
Gates open at 6.30am, scrutineering at 7am followed by a rider briefing at 8am.
A full canteen will be available and you must be a member to ride but day licences are available.
Camping Saturday night is available for those travelling.

Ayers ATRA Jackpot: THE Ayers Team Roping Association is holding its roping and barrel racing weekend, catering for all ages from seven and under to open.
Canteen and bar available all weekend as well as showers, toilets and water.
Books open at 7.30am, with roping starting at 9.30am.
