WATCH: Semi-trailer driver curbs potential highway crash

VISION has emerged of the extraordinary skills of a truck driver who kept control  of his heavy vehicle when a tyre blows and he avoids a potentially deadly disaster.

Tyre and debris accompany a cloud of dirt as the driver clearly makes attempts to stop the vehicle.

Amazingly, no one was injured and the semi-trailer does not collide with any other vehicles as the driver eventually brings the truck to a stop in the grassy median strip.

Clayton's Towing posted the vision on their Facebook page.

"Clayton's operator had pulled in a parking bay and was backing up to assist a stuck ute," the post read.

'The operator had no idea what was unfolding in front of him as a semi trailer blows a steer tyre.

"Watch the tyre/debris fly and the amazing driving skills by the semi driver."
