Warrego radar down
The Warrego rain radar on the Bureau of Meteorology's website will be down until at least Monday.
A fault was detected at 2.30pm on Thursday, January 5 at the sites control centre, 23kms east of Morven.
A Bureau of Meteorology spokeswoman said they lost all power and communication to the site.
"Because of this, we are unable to run a backup feed from the Brisbane base," she said.
"At this point we are not sure what has caused the outage."
The Bureau of Meteorology will send technicians from Brisbane on Monday to fix the fault and hope to have the radar running again by close of business on January 9.
The spokeswomen said various factors can cause faults in the radar with the most common being lightning.
