UPDATE 1.25OPM:  A 19-year-old woman has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after the vehicle she was driving veering into an embankment. 

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the woman suffered minor injuries and had spinal pain. 

No-one else was involved in the crash. 

UPDATE: One lane has been blocked while fire crews help release a driver from a vehicle following a single car crash at Sunshine Acres. 

Police are directing traffic as emergency crews work to free the driver. 

EARLIER: EMERGENCY crews have been called to a single vehicle crash at Sunshine Acres. 

It appears a red Hyandai has veered off the road into an embankment on Condor Drive.  

Paramedics are assisting the driver of the vehicle who remains inside the car.  

Police are interviewing those believed to be witnesses at the scene. 

Injuries are unknown at this stage.
