Woman crashes after swerving to miss kangaroo

UPDATE 8AM: A woman crashed her car when she swerved to miss a kangaroo near Warwick this morning.

The crash occurred 12km south of Warwick on the New England Hwy near the intersection of Ranger Rd about 7am.

The 40-year-old Brisbane woman, the only occupant of the vehicle, was not injured.

Emergency services are clearing the scene.

7.10AM: Emergency services are rushing to assist a motorist whose vehicle veered off the road this morning.

A vehicle crashed on the New England hwy near Warwick about 7am this morning.

The crash happened about 12km east of Warwick.

Fire-fighters and police are on-route to the scene.

The driver is not thought to be trapped in the vehicle.
