UPDATE: Roma Police still investigating Warrego Hwy crash

POLICE are still conducting inquiries into the cause of a rollover on the Warrego Hwy west of Roma on Sunday.

The single vehicle rolled over onto the north side of the highway just prior to 7.30am, trapping the driver inside and blocking the east-bound lane.

The driver, a Surat man in his early 20s, was taken away in an ambulance around 8.30am on Sunday morning after emergency services were called earlier.

He sustained lacerations to his head and was treated at the Roma Hospital.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
