UPDATE: Lifeflight airlifts Maranoa bull attack victim
THE Roma-based LifeFlight Surat Gas Aeromedical Service (SGAS) helicopter has airlifted a man, after he was kicked by a bull earlier this morning.
The helicopter was deployed to a private property on Durham Downs at around 7.20am on November 25.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and LifeFlight Paramedic joined Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics in treating the patient for abdominal and back injuries.
The man, aged in his 20s, was flown to the Roma LifeFlight SGAS base, from where local QAS paramedics transported him to Roma Hospital.
He was flown in a serious but stable condition.
this operation was performed by SGAS’s donation of 150 flying hours each year.
A MAN has been flown to the Roma Hospital after being struck by a bull on a rural property.
Queensland Ambulance Service attended the Durham Downs property in the Maranoa Region at 6.39am on November 25.
A QAS spokeswoman said the patient was loaded onto a helicopter and flown to hospital in a stable condition, suffering back pain.
