UPDATE: Condition of man attacked in Roma’s main street

THE man who was brutally assaulted on Roma’s main street is now in a stable condition at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

The 42-year-old victim was taken to Roma Hospital with serious head injuries after being knocked unconscious at the corner of Arthur and McDowall Streets on July 7.

Staff at the hospital said the man is no longer in the intensive care unit at the PA Hospital.

The alleged offender is due in Roma Magistrates Court on August 5.
