Toddler on the mend after suspected snake bike at Yamanto

A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy was treated for a suspected snake bite yesterday.

Queensland Ambulance received a call to Tulip St, Yamanto about 12.30pm, where paramedics treated the boy before transporting him to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition.

The type of snake involved has not been confirmed.

Medical staff were running tests, but a hospital spokesman said the boy was in a satisfactory condition.
