Car pulling caravan goes off the road on Leichhardt Hwy
UPDATE 2.15pm: Authorities say a car pulling a caravan went off the road while travelling along the Leichhardt Hwy at 12.05pm.
A spokeswoman for the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service said a truck driver pulled over to assist those involved. Initial reports were of a truck and car crash, but this was not the case, the spokeswoman said.
A patient was assessed on scene by Queensland Ambulance officers, but was not seriously injured.
INITIAL REPORT: Emergency service crews are responding to reports of a truck crash on the Leichhardt Highway.
The Queensland Ambulance Service reports the crash site is about 55km north of Taroom and 40km south of Theodore between a truck and a car.
