Trivia buffs called on to compete for a good cause

DON'T forget to head to the Roma Bowls Club in Lovell St for a night of trivia fun on Thursday.

All money raised from the battle of the brains will be donated to Roma occupational therapists Yvette Ladner and Annabelle Heggaton.

The daring duo are taking part in the Leukemia Foundation's Shave for a Cure next month and need the community's support to raise as much money as possible.

Trivia buffs need to form teams of five to 10 people and be at the Bowls Club at 6.30pm to register.

The competition kicks off at 7pm and entry is $10 per person.

Teams are encouraged to dress up and the Apex Club of Roma will be there with their $100 board, so bring some coins for your chance to win.

Anyone wanting a meal should pre-order by calling the Bowls Club as soon as possible.

Here's a little teaser question to get the grey matter warmed up in preparation for Thursday night...

Question: Why do otters have a special pouch in their fur coat?

Remember, Google searching the answer is cheating.
