Trio in court over violent Toowoomba home invasion
UPDATE: Three people charged in relation to what police described as a violent home invasion in Toowoomba on Thursday evening appeared before the city's Magistrates Court.
Gregory Phillip Lance, 31, of Arundel, Bailey James Allan Harris, 17, of Labrador, and Shaianne Bree Harris, 26, of Wilsonton Hts, were each charged with robbery in company with violence, assault occasioning bodily harm and entering a dwelling with intent, all arising from the incident.
Police claim the trio went to a McMahon Crescent residence in Newtown about 6.30pm Thursday and assaulted a 31-year-old woman and 26-year-old man at the house.

It is also alleged property was stolen from one of the house occupants before the trio left
The three accused were found by police a short time later and charged, spending the night in custody before appearing in court yesterday morning.
Duty solicitor Claire Graham applied for bail on behalf of all three accused, telling the court all three of her clients had bail addresses and that Shaianne Harris had no criminal history at all and that Bailey Harris was very young, having just turned 17 in December.
Magistrate Graham Lee granted bail to both of those accused with each having to abide by conditions while on bail.
However, noting Lance was much older and that the police accusations were "very serious", Mr Lee refused bail and remanded him in custody.
The case was adjourned for mention back in the same court on May 12.
EARLIER: Police have charged three people with robbery and assault following a disturbance at a home in Toowoomba.
It will be alleged two men and a woman have forced their way into a house on McMahon Crescent about 6.30pm before assaulting a 31-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man inside the house.
The trio have then allegedly stolen property before leaving the house.
Police located the three offenders a short time later and charged them with a number of offences.
A 31-year-old Arundel man, a 26-year-old woman and a 17-year-old man both from Wilsonton Heights have all been charged with one count each of robbery in company with actual violence, assault occasioning bodily harm and entering a dwelling with intent.
All three are due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court today.
