TopX pop some bottles at Christmas Races
ALLAN Cooney has plenty of reasons to pop a bottle - he and the staff TopX will be holding their Christmas party at the McDonald's Christmas Races this weekend.
The McDonald Christmas Races will host 17 local businesses promising to be a day full of Christmas cheer and merriment.
Office Manager of TopX Roma Roz Presho said it was a new tradition they really enjoyed.
"We came here two years ago and had such a great day, everyone loves the races and the Roma Turf Club do a great job accommodating us," Ms Presho said.
"It's a great smaller race meet, and that gives us the opportunity to catch up with locals we work with."
Ms Presho said it had been a great year for the company with a lot of changes.
"We have employed more staff and we have moved office, and have had tremendous growth," she said.
"Our national headquarters have now moved to Roma."
The gates at Bassett Park open from 11am.
