Three men questioned over stolen car pursuit

THREE men could face charges after leading police in an early-morning pursuit at Springfield.

Police started to pursue the allegedly stolen car about 4am on Saturday.

Officers used tyre deflation devices to stop the vehicle after calling off the pursuit.

A police spokesman said the three men inside the car then ran from the stopped vehicle.

One man was caught at the scene and the two other men were both apprehended by officers from Ipswich.

All three men are now assisting police with their enquiries.
