Bruce Hwy re-opens after three-vehicle crash at Miriam Vale

THREE people were taken to Gladstone Hospital in a stable condition after a three-vehicle crash on the Bruce Hwy near Miriam Vale on Sunday night.

The accident happened at 11.03pm.

Two patients had head lacerations, while the third had a minor facial injury.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said the three vehicles involved had been army trucks.

The crash was about 15km south of Miriam Vale.

Diversions were in place overnight, with one lane of the highway closed.

Both lanes were then closed this morning, but re-opened at 8am.

Delays are expected.
