Teenager found with knife at Hervey Bay airport

A MAN was charged after he attempted to go through Hervey Bay Airport security with a credit card knife on Sunday.  

Police were called to the airport about 12.40pm when security found the knife.  

A credit card knife is designed to look like a bank card and can fit in a wallet or back pocket.  

An 18-year-old New South Wales man is set to appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on June 9.
