Taxi driver the victim of an armed robbery

A MAN has allegedly robbed a taxi driver at Eagleby this morning.

The 33-year-old driver transported the man to an address on Fryar Road where he was then robbed.

The man threatened the driver when they arrived, demanding money and property.

He managed to escape on foot carrying cash and other items.

The man fled on foot with a sum of cash and property.

The man is described as tanned complexion with an Australian accent, approximately 142cms tall, and a thin build, wearing a dark blue jumper, blue cap, dark pants, white runners and walks with a limp.

The driver was unharmed.
