SHE is a blonde, tanned, Swedish gymnast who was fighting for her life before she was even a teen.

Now the bubbly young woman is living her dream, living the country lifestyle in the small Queensland town of Childers, working on an avocado farm.

Sophia Jansson, 25, suffered a back injury then developed anorexia at the age of 12.
 

Unable to exercise, Ms Jansson cut down the amount of food she was eating to compensate. Her weight fell sharply.

After battling anorexia through her high school years, she would eventually move to Australia and seek further treatment.

By the time she arrived, she was keen to convince others she was healthy again. But after 12 months enjoying our sunny shores, the disorder returned.

It was only after a trip to America that she returned to Australia with the strength to finally beat anorexia and really experience what the country has to offer.

'The Australia trip has helped me in so many ways - I wanted to show everyone, including myself, I could take care of me," she told the Daily Mail.

'I also want to spread my story around the world, to show that there is hope.

'I am now living my life to 110 per cent, doing everything I have ever wanted."

She is now touring parts of Queensland, visiting Agnes Water, the Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg,
