
Police find second suspect in Cherbourg fire incident
UPDATE: Police investigating a building fire that occurred in Cherbourg overnight have located a second juvenile alleged to have been involved in the incident.
It will be alleged a fire was deliberately lit in a bin at the Barambah Avenue building around 1.30am. The fire then spread causing damage to the roof and front of the building.
No one was hurt as a result of the incident.
A 14-year-old Murgon girl and a 16-year-old Cherbourg girl have been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act 1992.
SATURDAY: POLICE are investigating after a building in Cherbourg was damaged by fire in the early hours of Saturday, April 2.
Police allege a fire was deliberately lit in a bin at a Barambah Avenue building about 1.30am.
The fire then spread and caused damage to the roof and the front of the building.
Police said a 14-year-old Murgon girl has been dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
Investigations continue.
