Students' efforts recognised

ST JOHN'S celebrated the best and the brightest on Thursday evening for their annual school awards night.

This year Thomas Brennan was awarded the 2018 St John's Dux of the school for his hard-working nature and excelling academically.

Mr Brennan achieved very high results in all six of his subjects which included physics, biology, information technology systems, mathematics B, english and religion and ethics.

Alongside his studies, Mr Brennan also completed his UMAT examinations which assists him to pursue his career in medicine.

Sophia Tilbury and Sean Allen were this year awarded the best all rounder awards.

They both experienced success academically and their efforts in different cultural pursuits.

Claudia Thom was the recip[inet of the Future in Faith award which is awarded to someone who replaicates the Mercy values on a daily basis.

Miss Thom's genuine, compassionate nature and willingness to embed her self into the spirit of St John's school is what made her the perfect recipient of the award.
