Stingers deployed on car believed to be stolen

TWO men are assisting police with enquiries following an incident late last night that started in near Ironbark.

At around 10.20pm, police attempted to intercept a vehicle, believed to have been stolen, travelling on the Brisbane Valley Highway at Ironbark.

After evading police, Polair2 began to monitor the vehicle as it travelled into the Brassall area.

In Brassall, a male passenger left the vehicle which continued to be driven into Ipswich without him.

Police deployed tyre deflation devices near Chuwar which were successful in slowing the vehicle.

The vehicle finally came to a stop in a driveway on Mount Crosby Road and two men were apprehended by police.
