Man charged following alleged McDonald's heist

POLICE have charged a man after the Glass House Mountains McDonald's on the Bruce Highway was allegedly held up with a "homemade knife" and a baton last Thursday, December 5.
It's alleged the 35-year-old man entered the restaurant and demanded money off staff members.
He will face Maroochydore Magistrates Court today charged with armed robbery.
