Flag marshall hit by motorbike at track taken to hospital

A FLAG marshall struck by a motorbike at a track was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics were called to a motocross track off Kimbler Rd near Roma about 11.30am with reports the man had been hit by a motorbike.

Paramedics transported him to Roma Hospital in a stable condition with a back injury.

It was the second transport from the track for paramedics after a male rider suffered a "significant" leg injury earlier in the day.

Paramedics transported the man in his 20s to Roma Hospital in a stable condition after a crash about 9.50am.

*An earlier report on this story had incorrectly stated the flag marshall was a spectator. Motorcycling Queensland has confirmed the man was a flag marshall.
