JOB WELL DONE: Roma paramedic Jess Heal received the Commissioner's Award for customer focus.

Special honour for one Roma paramedic

IT WOULD be hard to find a more deserving recipient of a Commissioner's Award than Jessica Heal.

The Roma paramedic works tirelessly in the community and goes above and beyond to deliver the best care that she can, and to recognise these efforts she has received the award for customer focus.

"My nomination came from my work that I do with ResQ R000S, CPR awareness and community engagement,” Ms Heal said.

"It's very humbling more than anything else.”

She has taught CPR Awareness to more than 300 people and has also delivered the ResQ R000S education program to more than 1800 school students.

Because of this she has helped increase the safety of community members.

"I just see it as my job but I guess I go a little bit above that.”
