Single-vehicle crash leads to life-threatening injuries

POLICE are investigating after a single vehicle traffic crash at Drewvale left one man with life-threatening injuries.

Initial investigations indicate around 2am the car the man was driving along Macquarie Way left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The driver and sole occupant was trapped in the vehicle before being freed.  He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
