School evacuated after suspicious smell

QUEENSLAND Fire and Emergency crews are currently on scene at Nanango State School after reports of a suspicious smell.

Crews were called to the school at 2.30pm to the Drayton St campus when concerns were raised about a smell lurking the grounds.

The school was reportedly evacuated - giving students and staff an early mark for the afternoon.

QFES are currently flushing the plumbing system and the incident is ongoing.
