Roma's $100k Lucky Lotteries winner confirmed

AFTER nearly a month of anticipation, Roma's mystery winner of the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot was confirmed this afternoon by Golden Casket.

The anonymous Roma resident, who phoned Golden Casket about the ticket number, admitted he knew there was a missing Lucky Lotteries winner in town, but didn't think his ticket in draw 10085 on 1 July had won the $100,000 Prize.

"I walked past the sign in the newsagency's window saying there was a missing winner so many times but never thought it was me!” the excited winner exclaimed.

"I kept thinking to myself what fool wouldn't register their lottery tickets to a Winners Circle card - well it turns out that fool was me!”

The winning ticket was purchased from the Roma Newsagent on July 1.
