Roma woman clocked 144km/hr in ‘rush to get home’

A ROMA woman has copped a heft fine after being clocked speeding down a highway.

Dalby police acting officer-in-charge sergeant Tony Logue said her car was intercepted on the Warrego Highway near Dalby at 2pm on Saturday after she was allegedly caught driving at 144km/hr.

She was fined $1245, instantly lost her licence and had eight demerit points deducted.
