Roma home business expands to shopfront after massive demand
TUQERI Davis has helped fix broken phones, tablets and smartwatches locally for more than four years now, and has taken his business to the next step.
He has now been able to open a brand new shopfront for his business Prime Repairs in Roma for people to be able to drop in their phones and have them repaired locally.
“I’m originally from Hervey Bay, that where I started,” he said.
“2016 was when I started doing repairs.”
Mr Davis moved to Roma in 2019 and worked from home, but as of today, October 19, his new store has opened up in Arthur Street.
He is excited to open up Roma’s only non-mobile repair shop and says the community can now get their devices repaired in about a day, instead of taking weeks to send it off to a tech company.
“It’s better for Roma because there’s not many shops here that do it,” Mr Davis said.
Prime Repairs also sells speakers, batteries, charger ports, and other accessories.
Opening hours are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, closed weekends.
