Further details have emerged about the alleged offenders who are accused of breaking into multiple houses and cars in Roma.

Sergeant Shane Ferry said one of the people accused of the break-ins was an 18-year-old, facing multiple charges including burglary, damage, drug offences, and unlawful possession of property.

A 16-year-old boy is also facing charges including entering premises with intent, burglary and commit indictable offence, and entering vehicles, a Queensland Police spokesman said.

It comes after police raided a Whip St address in Roma at 9.30am on January 19.

“In that search, police located an amount of property that had been stolen from a number of residents around town,” sergeant Ferry said.

Police also found marijuana at the property and charged a 19-year-old with a drug offence.

They will all be appearing in court at a later date.

A 17-year-old boy also stands charged with five offences including entering premises, but some of these matters are still under investigation.
