Rockhampton man missing, did not return from fishing trip

A ROCKHAMPTON man has been identified as a missing person after not returning home from a fishing trip earlier this week.

Police have released details about the man, Syied Alam (pictured), 33 who has not been seen since Tuesday night. Yesterday, Detective Acting Senior Sergeant of Rockhampton CIB, Scott Ingram said his disappearance was out of character.

"He was last seen by his wife on Tuesday evening," Det. snr sgt Ingram said.

"He went out fishing that evening but did not return home. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact police as soon as possible."
