RDA weekly dart results

DARTS: There was plenty of action down at the darts club in the weekly Roma Darts Association (RDA) Wednesday competition.

The Roma teams didn't have much luck this week, conceding all five games to the away teams.

The Outlaws were defeated 2-7 by the Big Guns.

Mischiefs couldn't get a score on the board, losing 0-9 against the Dartsharks.

Also struggling to get a mark on the tally sheet were the Hustlers, who lost to the Cavaliers 0-9.

It was a close game between the L-Platers and the Pirate,s but the away team snagged the win 4-5.

The end result for the Hi Jacks and the Crows saw the away team win 2-7.

Highest scorers of the competition went to players Will Hill, Rob Hammond, Phil Roberts, David Cooper and Greg Corban, all with an impressive score of 140.

The highest peg of the competition went to Melinda Martin with 86.

The Ladies League finals will begin to take place from next week with the quarter finals being held on Monday, October 17.

Game one to play for the Premier Shield will be between the Royalettes and the Gremlins.

The game for the Consultation Shield is between the Dragons and Outcast.

The RDA would like to wish all the best to the teams playing in the finals.

The semi-finals of the ladies comp will be held on October 24 and the finals will be on October 31.
