Waldron's unbeaten half-century sees Railways home
RAILWAYS captain Ben Waldron has smashed his side's way to victory over Injune on Sunday.
The win, a four-wicket victory over the Eagles, keeps Railways in the hunt going into the Christmas break.
Waldron was the star with an unbeaten 68, and opener Tom Packer also smashed 51 before being caught behind off the bowling of Troy Roberts.
Injune set the home side a formidible but not unreachable total of 161 in the first innings, with Brett Perkins hitting 69, but his only support came from Dave Vincent, who scored 21.
Barry Duff was among the best of the bowlers for Railways, taking 3/22 off his seven overs, and Roberts finished with two wickets for Injune.
Matt Bidgood and Brendan Murray also chipped in with a wicket each.
