Queensland needs a nude beach, how about at Fraser Coast?
QUEENSLAND is losing hundreds of thousands of tourism dollars to New South Wales each year because it does not have a single legal nude beach, the man promoting Queensland's latest legal nude beach push claims.
Queensland is the only Australian mainland state not to have a legal declared nude beach, despite millions of tourism dollars and tourist imagery built around its relaxed beach culture.

Fraser Coast man John Hart - backed by Queensland MP Bruce Saunders - has launched a petition asking for Dundowran Beach on the Fraser Coast - or anywhere in Queensland - to become Queensland's first legal nude beach.
Dundowran is an "unofficial' nude beach, like Alexandria Bay in Noosa National Park.
Around 280 people have now signed the petition.
