Queensland gals book spot in MKR finals

RURAL gals Jac and Shaz booked themselves a spot in My Kitchen Rule's Top Five tonight.

The cousins from Mount Isa proved their versatility, serving up tasty street food followed by a fine dining dish.

The remaining six teams competed in two rounds tonight to secure one of three coveted spots in the reality cooking show's finals.

They had just 30 minutes in the rapid-fire challenge to create a dish inspired by street food.

Brits Will and Steve won the challenge with their twice-cooked chicken wings with peach chutney.

Their reward was the power to decide which teams would cook against each other in the head-to-head showdowns.

Will and Steve chose to cook against Eva and Debra, while Jac and Shaz went up against Jane and Emma and Drasko and Bianca cooked against Ash and Camilla.

Jac and Shaz beat Melbourne flat mates Jane and Emma with their fancy version of reef and beef, while Ash and Camilla's overcooked barramundi gave the win to Perth's Drasko and Bianca.

Will and Steve booked the final berth with their perfectly cooked venison.

One of the bottom three teams from tonight's challenge will be eliminated on Sunday night.
