MORE than 70 power poles have been replaced after storms hit the Darling Downs region.
Cloudy weather will continue this week and into the New Year, with only a small chance of rain.
The minimum tomorrow is expected to be 16 degrees and the maximum 22 degrees with a 20 per cent chance of showers. There will be less chance of showers through the rest of the week, with just a 10% chance of rain on New Year's Eve.
After the storms in the Cecil Plains region last week, Ergon Energy has restored power to all customers yesterday either by the network or through generation.
An Ergon Energy spokesman said Ergon would remain in daily contact with customers being supplied by generation until they can return to mains power.
"A lot of work remains to be done to return the network to its normal configuration and crews will continue working in the region for several days yet," he said.
"More than 100 crew members, including a contingent from Energex, were in the field on Boxing Day and they are now focusing on the worst affected areas where access continues to be difficult."
Additional excavators were brought in to assist on Christmas Day in areas where mud was too boggy for Ergon vehicles.
