POLL: Do you flash your headlights to alert other motorists?

NEARLY half of Queensland motorists were willing to break the law to alert others to speed traps, according to the latest research conducted by RACQ.

The Insurer's research revealed 44% of drivers flashed their headlights on a regular basis to warn others about speed cameras in the area.

RACQ Executive Manager Insurance Communications Mike Sopinski said motorists should be aware this practice was illegal.

Does this ring true in the south west? Let us know in our poll below.
