Missing man found safe and well in Cardwell

UPDATE: A 42-year-old man missing from The Gap since Boxing Day was this morning located safe and well in Cardwell.

Police would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance

EARLIER: POLICE are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate 42-year-old Bryce Harriman who has travelled from Brisbane to Cardwell, and may be possibly be heading to Cairns.

Mr. Harriman was last seen at The Gap on Boxing Day morning with police enquiries revealing he caught a plane to Townsville arriving at 10.40am that same morning.

Mr. Harriman is believed to have spent last night in Cardwell. His current means of travel is unknown.

Police and family have serious concerns for Mr. Harriman's wellbeing with officers urging anyone who may have seen him or has any information in relation to his current whereabouts to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Mr. Harriman is travelling with a large green 'swag' and may travel to bush or outback locations.

Mr. Harriman is described as Caucasian, 175cms tall with a proportionate build, short dark brown hair and blue eyes.
