Police swoop on alleged "grow house"

POLICE have raided an alleged marijuana grow house with an estimated $2 million worth of plants.

Logan tactical crime squad officers searched a Browns Plains property at 6am this morning, allegedly locating a significant amount of hydroponic cannabis growing in nine different rooms.

Police say the estimated stree value of the 400 plants is $2 million.

A 21-year-old man was located in an upstairs bedroom and arrested at the scene.

He has been charged with producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing anything used in the commission of crime and stealing (electricity). He is due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
