Police seize meth and cash after traffic stop

Police have charged a man following a traffic stop in Collingwood Park over the weekend.

The Ipswich Tactical Crime Squad were patrolling on Collingwood Dr around 8.20pm when they intercepted a car. It will be alleged that a search of the vehicle uncovered a quantity of methylamphetamine.

Following the execution of a search warrant of an address in Riverview, it will be further alleged that a quantity of cash was located and seized.

A 30-year-old Riverview man has been charged with one count of possession of dangerous drugs and is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on August 15.
