Police seek public’s assistance after two more break-ins

Roma police are asking for the communities assistance after two more homes were broken into over the weekend.

Between Thursday, February 18 and Saturday, February 20, offender/s entered a property on Powell St and stole a golf club and tennis racquet.

Police have made inquiries and are still investigating the matter.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a resident on Powell St was woke up to footsteps and lights outside his home.

About 1.50am, he observed two males rummaging through items on his veranda.

The homeowner told police they were aged between 18-26-years-of-age and were about 176cm tall and wearing baggy clothing.

Police are investigating the matter and are seeking the public’s assistance and asking if anyone has seen or heard anything to contact Roma Police station on 4622 9333 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
