Police probe shooting on Gold Coast

POLICE are still looking for a firearm involved in a shooting in Broadbeach overnight.

At around 8pm police responded to reports of a shot being fired at a unit complex on Albert Avenue.

Officers attended the complex and declared a crime scene but have not located a firearm.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Investigations are continuing.
